FRANSCHHOEK UNCORKED 6 to 8 November 2020

This year’s Franschhoek Uncorked Festival, which takes place over the weekend of 6 to 8 November. What better excuse to explore one of South Africa’s premier wine destinations, whilst uncovering a fine selection of wine gems from the Franschhoek Vignerons.

Grande Provence will have a series of fun tastings, wine blending and concert luncheon available over this weekend and Uncorked fans are welcome to pre-book their spot for our offerings

Friday 6 November: Tasting of 2 wines (complimentary)

Special Events:

Saturday 7 November: pre-book your Wine Blending Experience at a discounted rate of R350pp.

Guests receive three varieties to enable them to blend their own style of wine. A wine Ambassador will guide guests through the process showing how and why certain varieties harmonise better than others. After corking their bottle, guests can then enjoy their own individually blended wine at home; a beautiful memento from the day.

Sunday 8 November: Classical Guitar and Voice Recital by Deborah Wai Kapohe with a 3 course wine pairing lunch @ R550 at 12h00. (Duration: concert 40 minutes, followed by Lunch)

Two different programmes of songs and arias, performed by Soprano Deborah Wai Kapohe of New Zealand, to celebrate the end of the South African Lockdown.
Exquisite Bel Canto singing, accompanied by a Romantic Guitar

To celebrate Lockdown Grande Provence has created a recital series for a limited amount of people in a superb setting on the Estate
Join us in scenic Franschhoek for a delightful recital of Bel Canto music for voice and guitar
A recital of arias and song for lovers of Opera and Classical Music.
We welcome the end of Lockdown with an exquisite guitar and voice recital.
