Sam Allerton, New Artist At The Gallery

Sam Allerton, an absolutely fantastic conceptual sculptor, has found his feet in a spacious studio here in Franschhoek, almost right next to Grande Provence Estate.

Allerton’s Frontline series is displayed in the beautiful gardens of Grande Provence. The rather intriguing human/animal figures reference Allerton’s constant homage to nature and wildlife. By alerting the traditional figure, he creates a dramatic feeling and shift in perception.

With all that been said, these compact bronze figures are more than a visually pleasing experience.
