Grande Provence goes back to its roots with a new heritage tasting menu.
Grande Provence, the landmark 1694 Heritage Wine Estate in Franschhoek, has gone back to its culinary roots with a new Heritage Tasting Menu.
With dishes such as Malay onions, smoked snoek and fish kaiings; Ox tongue with sweet mustard and pickled butternut; lamb rump, morogo and rooibos jus; and springbok rump with mielie pap, chakalaka, buchu and honey jus, the menu is a collection of true South African heritage food.
The Restaurant at Grande Provence is open daily for lunch and dinner. The following menus are available for both services:
- Lunch: R495, R595 and R695 for 3, 4 and 5 courses respectively without wines and R780, R880 and R980 with wine pairing options.
- Dinner: R725 and R880 for 4 and 5 courses respectively without wines and R1 015 and R1 350 with wine pairing options.
