Limited release fermentation Zinfandel is the crux of this wine. The grapes were hand harvested from north western slopes on the Groenberg, destemmed and gently crushed. A warm ferment ensured optimal colour extraction and the expression of typical black fruit notes. The wine was aged in French and American oak for a year.
An opulent wine with notes of mulled spices and ripe strawberries. The palate is fresh with great acidity supported by deliciously supple tannins.
Best served with casseroles and game dishes, or as an alternative try it with liquor filled chocolates.
