Grande Provence recognised as the best restaurant

15 September 2008 - At the first ‘Annual Good Hope FM Best of Cape Town Awards’ held on Saturday 13 September, 'The Restaurant' at the 5-star Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate, Franschhoek was voted The Best Restaurant in Cape Town in the hospitality category, in recognition of excellence & contribution to Cape Town.

States Executive Chef, Jacques de Jager, "I would like to thank Goodhope FM for conceptualising this initiative which creates a great platform for us all to show the very best that Cape Town has to offer and in turn make us all proud of this beautiful city and its people. We are extremely proud to have been voted as the best restaurant, it means a great deal to all the team at Grande Provence and we look forward to welcoming you to the Winelands for a unique food and wine experience."

For the summer season, the award-winning restaurant is once again open on Sunday evenings for dinner as well as its normal operating hours of Monday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. Guests can choose from an array of dishes that showcases a varied combination of simple yet defined flavours. In addition guests can also opt for the Chef’s Tuesday 5-Course Degustation Menu.
