THE GALLERY AT Grande Provence PRESENTS – Curious Creatures and Other Animals

16 October 2007 -A multi-faceted exhibition will open at The Gallery, Grande Provence on 28 October. Titled “Curious Creatures and Other Animals” the core of the show emanates from the Aardklop Kunsfees in Potchefstroom where it was shown as “Tracking Creative Creatures”. The exhibition was an innovative project which investigated the creative process for which several artists interpreted the same visual impulse to which they reacted with different interpretations.

The works of several well-known artists were added to the Aardklop pieces, and the exhibition consists of paintings, sculpture, graphic works and ceramics. The following artists will be represented: Jacques Dhont, Guy du Toit, Gordon Froud, Elizabeth Gunter, Tracey Lee Lynch, Ian Marley, Henk Serfontein, Nicolene Swanepoel, Angus Taylor, Francois van Reenen, Christiaan van der Westhuizen, Francois Visser and Dianne Victor.

The exhibition closes on 28 November 2007.
