GRANDE PROVENCE LAUNCH FLAGSHIP RED

December 2007 - Grande Provence Wine Estate, Franschhoek, today launched their exciting flagship red blend, aptly named ‘The Grande Provence’.

The wine is the latest offering from award-winning winemaker, Jaco Marais. The style and composition of ‘The Grande Provence’ is uniquely representative of the 2004 vintage and the winemaker’s art and will change annually to continually produce a wine that is the best of the particular vintage.

The wine is packaged in a heavy glass bottle with a floating foil-print label and a custom-designed black leather and aluminium case.

The launch is timed to correspond with the latest available vintages of the Grande Provence collection, namely Grande Provence Sauvignon Blanc 2007, Chardonnay 2005, Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 and Shiraz 2006 and each wine is matched to Executive Chef, Peter Tempelhoff’s new summer menu.

‘The Grande Provence’ will be available exclusively from the Grande Provence Wine Estate tasting room in mid-December.
