STYLE
This is a medium to full bodied red wine that has been matured in French (85%) and American (15%) oak barrels for 15 months. It has ripe blackberries and blackcurrants followed by stewed plums and delicate white pepper on the nose and palate. The tannins are well integrated, giving the wine a smooth mouth feel.
SERVING SUGGESTION
This wine can be enjoyed on it own or served with smoked meats and charcuterie, red meats, poultry and game dishes with rich or lightly spiced sauces.
