Reservation, payments & cancellation policy

  • Full pre-payment is required within 24 hours of booking in order to confirm a reservation. Upon receipt of payment, cancellation policies will apply as follow:
    • Cancellation outside 45 days will result in a 50% loss of the full payment.
    • Cancellation within 45 days prior to your arrival will result in a 100% loss of the full payment.
  • Reservations for families travelling with children will only be accepted for accommodation on an exclusive-use basis, at either The Owner’s Cottage or La Provençale. Bed and Breakfast bookings, that include children, are not available at The Owner’s Cottage.
  • All tariffs are quoted in South African Rand. Foreign currency payments are accepted at the daily bank rate of exchange valid in South Africa on the date that payment is received.
  • Tariffs are subject to confirmation at the time of booking.
  • All foreign transactions may attract an extra 2% handling fee over and above the bank’s usual exchange rate, which will be charged to your account by your bank along with any other bank charges.
  • Please note that payments can be made by Amex, Visa, Mastercard as well as Diners.
  • Payments made directly into The Grande Provence bank account is preferred: Grande Provence Properties (Pty) Ltd

  • Please email a copy of the transfer slip to: ownerscottage@grandeprovence.co.za
  • Grande Provence reserves the right to cancel any booking should full payment not be received 45 days prior to arrival. Should it be a last minute booking, Grande Provence will allow for 5 days from time of booking confirmation until payment reaches us before Grande Provence will cancel the booking.
